I did find that most of the Windows 10 base drivers worked fine and I manually installed from the vendor their specific drivers. Now the fun part, you may have issues installing the boot camp drivers from Apple since they are signed for Windows 7/8 for your system.
What you need to do is just create a bootable Windows 10 USB drive by yourself, run boot camp to partition the drive, manually reboot holding option, select the Windows 10 USB installer, reformat the partition as NTFS, and then install Windows 10. I had a MacBook Pro 5,1 13” that officially only supported windows 7, but I had it running Windows 10 before I sold it.
